Project: Protecting against neurodegeneration by somatic gene therapy was selected for realisation
by transnational call of ERA-Net NEURON scheme. The goal of the project is to establish
a gene therapeutic approach that will slow down or even prevent neurodegeneration
which is the main effect of Alzheimer's disease. One of the partners of the project is
the research team led by Prof. Dr. Barbara Nawrot from our Centre.

ISPO-10: International workshop on organosilicon polymers, will be held in Lodz,
Poland, 27-30 June 2010. It is the seventh subsequent
workshop in a series of events, which took place in Ishikawa
(Japan), Canterbury (UK), Troy (USA), Honolulu (Hawaii),
Montpellier (France) and Pusan (Korea). The workshop offers an
opportunity to discuss recent progress in organosilicon polymer
science and technology, and future perspectives.
