Current research area:

  • Studies of syntheses and properties of amphiphilic block copolymers (non-biodegradable and biodegradable) with various structures of hydrophilic blocks and micelles formed from copolymers.
  • Amphiphilic copolymers as bioactive agents and enzymes carriers.
  • Block copolymers as substrates for films formation for various biomedical applications.
  • Obtaining and properties of polymer nano- and microparticles with spherical and spheroidal shape. Studies of self-organization of the polymer microparticles on solid supports.
  • Biomedical applications of the polymer spherical and spheroidal particles with core-shell morphology with hydrophilic shell, prepared from biodegradable polymers/copolymers such as poly(L,L-lactide), poly(D,L-lactide), poly(epsilon-caprolactone), poly(lactide-co-glycolide).
