On May 20-21 this year, as part of the Open Days at the CMMS PAS in Lodz, the Department of Bioorganic Chemistry is organizing a workshop entitled. “Magical World of Science” for elementary school students.
Children and their guardians will be introduced to the specifics of work in a chemical and biochemical laboratory, as well as to simple but impressive experiments. Little scientists will also have the opportunity to conduct experiments on their own. The aim of the classes is to familiarize guests with the phenomena in the world around them, which they encounter in everyday life.
This year we will host students from Elementary Schools No. 34, 153, 162 and 184, from grades III-VII. Nearly 150 guests will visit us. The classes will be held from 8:30 am to 3 pm.
The organizers of the classes are: dr Renata Kaczmarek, dr Ewa Radzikowska-Cieciura, dr Katarzyna Horodecka i dr Rafał Dolot.
