Prof. dr hab. Piotr Balczewski has been recognized by the Minister of Science. Our scientist received a lifetime achievement award during the Polish Science Gala 2025 in Torun.
The event took place on 19.02.2025 at the Jordanki Cultural and Congress Center in Torun. The Polish Science Gala, established in 2020, is an opportunity to commemorate the achievements of the most outstanding Polish scientists who have made a permanent mark in the history of science by making groundbreaking discoveries in various fields. It is also a tribute to contemporary Polish researchers, as well as an inspiration to undertake scientific endeavors and strengthen interest in science and its popularization in society.
At this year’s ceremony, Marcin Kulasek, Minister of Science and Higher Education, presented the most distinguished representatives of the scientific and academic community with awards for significant achievements in scientific, teaching, implementation, organizational and lifetime achievement activities.
