Surface Structure of Soft Matter Group

The research conducted in the Laboratory focuses on the following issues:

1. Modification of surfaces of biodegradable polymers of agricultural origin using chemical and physical methods.
2. Nonwoven materials based on biodegradable polymers of agricultural origin: production and properties.
3. Physicochemical properties of thin oriented organic layers, phase transitions, electrical properties.
4. Analysis of thin oriented organic layer surfaces using X-ray methods and atomic force microscopy (AFM).
5. Production of highly oriented organic layers of small molecular compounds and polymers exhibiting anisotropic optical properties as well as nonlinear optical effects.
