POSITIONS OF ASSISTANT IN POLYMERIC NANOMATERIALS DIVISION

DIRECTOR OF THE CENTRE OF MOLECULAR AND MACROMOLECULAR STUDIES, POLISH ACADEMY OF SCIENCES IN ŁÓDŹ ANNOUNCES AN OPEN COMPETITION FOR THE POSITION OF ASSISTANT IN THE DEPARTMENT OF POLYMERIC NANOMATERIALS

 1. Key responsibilities:

• Research in the field of physicochemistry of polymeric materials and nanomaterials, development and testing of new materials and nanomaterials ;
• Analysis of research results and preparation of manuscripts for publication in scientific journals, as well as presentations at scientific conferences;
• Preparation of research grant applications and proposals for the purchase of research equipment.

2. Requirements:

• MSc or PhD in chemistry, physics, engineering, or a related field;
• Experience in experimental research and proficiency in research techniques used in the physicochemistry of polymer materials and nanomaterials;
• Documented scientific achievements- at least four publications in JCR-listed journals with a high IF, preferably related to the future research;
• Proficiency in English sufficient for reading and understanding scientific literature.

3. Required documents:

• Application and motivation letter, including a description of the planned research in the Department of Polymeric Nanomaterials (maximum two A4 pages);
• CV/academic biography, detailing previous research work and achievements;
• List of publications and other academic achievements;
• Copy of MSc diploma or PhD diploma;
• Two letters of recommendation from professors or associate professors.
