PhD level chemists (postdoctoral scientists) in OPUS-17, NCN Project: “Topologically coupled stable diradicals with tunable singlet-triplet gaps for molecular materials

Position in the project: PhD level chemist (postdoctoral position)

Project description:

The Postdoctoral scientists will participate in 3 year-long research project focused on synthesis of di- and tri-radicals, characterization of their molecular and electronic structures and understanding the intramolecular spin-spin interactions using a wide range of analytical methods and quantum-mechanical computations. The Postdoctoral Researcher will also be involved in supervision of a doctoral student.

Profile of candidates/requirements:

1. PhD degree in Chemistry or closely related to Chemistry preferably within the past 5 years.
2. Research experience in organic synthesis and at least one of the following: EPR spectroscopy, organic magnetism, photovoltaic materials.
3. Enthusiasm and high motivation for learning new techniques and collaboration with other research groups.
4. Proficiency in spoken and written English (knowledge of Polish is not required).
