The Prize of National Science Foundation for Monika Gosecka

In January 2011 Monika Gosecka M.Sc., asssistant in Dept. of Engineering of Polymeric Materials was awarded with the Prize of National Science Foundation for the poster presentation entitled “Formation of Colloidal CrystalAssemblies of Poly-(styrene/α-tert-Butoxy-ω-Vinylbenzylpolyglycidol) Microspheres with Covalently Bound L-3,4- Dihydroxyphenylalanine (L-DOPA)” presented on US-Poland Workshop & Summer School Nanoscale Phenomena in Materials and at Interfaces.
NSF will cover expenses of travel to United States and 9-day stay in the chosen laboratory. Ms. M. Gosecka is planning to visit the laboratory of Prof. Jindricha Kopecka (Department of Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Chemistry, University of Utah, Salt Lake City).
