“Hydrogels composed of dynamic cross-links of controlled diffusivity and enhanced solubility of drugs for gynecological treatment”
Position title: Post-doc
Requirements:
PhD in chemistry;
Experience in of hydrogel materials studies proven with a track record of publications;
Hands-on experience in synthetic polymer chemistry, preferably in an anionic polymerization;
Hands-on experience in polymers and hydrogel characterization methods; rheology is a must;
Ability to work independently: planning and execution of experiments; analysis and presentation of obtained results;
Excellent teamwork skills;
Effective written and spoken English language skills.
Tasks description:
The postdoctoral fellow will be responsible for:
Synthesis, modification and in-depth analysis of hydrogel-forming polymers;
Studies of model drugs solubility within hydrogels;
Analysis and optimization of hydrogels rheological properties;
Supervising PhD students;
Presentation of project results in the form of reports, oral presentation;
Preparation of scientific publications.
The conditions of employment
Salary: 10 000 PLN gross/gross/month
Contract duration: 12 months with the possibility of extension for next 12 months.

Due to the lack of candidates who would meet all the requirements of the competition, the Commission annulled the competition for the position of Post-Doc in the NCN Project SONATA BIS8 – ST5.
