Centre of Molecular and Macromolecular Studies the Polish Academy of Sciences in Lodz invites applicants to participate in an open competition for the position of GROUP LEADER.
We are seeking highly motivated scientists, who have completed at least two-years of postdoctoral training, have demonstrated outstanding scientific achievement, and are ready to start their independent careers.
We offer employment in the research institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences. The CMMS is active in the fields of heteroorganic chemistry, polymer chemistry, bioorganic chemistry, molecular modeling, materials science and physics of polymers. The candidate’s scientific interests should fall within the research fields of the CMMS.
The initial contract in this position will be for 5 years, with a possible extension after a positive evaluation of the candidate’s achievements.
We offer furnished laboratory space adjusted to the individual needs of the successful candidate, as well as access to the Institute’s shared equipment and facilities. The selected individual will be entitled to take on three team members.

The selection process will be conducted by the Recruitment Committee established by the Director of the CMMS. Short-listed candidates with the highest score will be selected for personal interviews.
Interviews will take place at the CMMS in mid-May 2015.
