During summer (July, September) we have a laboratory internships for students from universities in Lodz and others.
As a part of the student internships, we carry out theoretical and practical trainings (it may vary depending of availability):
1) Oligonucleotide Synthesis Facility:
– synthesis and purification of oligonucleotides
– oligonucleotide synthesis on the solid phase
– purification of oligonucleotides by HPLC method and spectrophotometric analysis
– MALDI-TOF analysis, purity analysis by electrophoresis, UV/Vis studies
2) Cellular tissue Facility:
– cell passage
– determination of cytotoxicity of different compounds
– transfection of plasmids
3) Isolation of RNA and proteins from cells, rtPCR/PCR analysis of RNA
4) SDS – electrophoresis of proteins, staining of the proteins in the gel
5) Proteomics and bioinformatics in immunology
6) Exosomes preparation and flow cytometry analysis (fundaments and applications)
7) Fluorescence microscope (introduction) and living cell visualisation and cellular preparations.
8) Bioinformatics and computer modeling
9) Protein crystallization by the hanging drop method and analysis of crystals
10) Isolation of protein after expression in bacteria by affinity chromatography
