DIRECTOR OF THE CENTRE OF MOLECULAR AND MACROMOLECULAR STUDIES, POLISH ACADEMY OF SCIENCES, ANNOUNCES A COMPETITION FOR THE POSITION OF ASSISTANT-2 IN STRUCTURAL CHEMISTRY DIVISION.
The main objectives of the research will include:
Development of effective methods of C-N bonding in a solid using commercially available coupling reagents;
Development of mechanosynthetic methods of hydrogen bonding in pharmaceutical cocrystals;
Purification and separation of crude reaction mixtures by chromatographic and crystallization methods and preparation of clean samples for physicochemical, spectroscopic and thermal tests, etc.
Spectroscopic analysis (NMR, MS, UV, IR) and elemental analysis of the obtained compounds, along with the interpretation of the results;
Preparation of grant projects, publications, texts of monographs and patent applications in Polish and English.
Conditions required from the candidate:
PhD degree in chemical or related sciences;
Documented scientific achievements in the fields listed in the first point, including at least three publications in journals from the Philadelphia list;
Documented ability to independently plan and conduct research and prepare research projects, participation in at least one project thematically related to the position;
Proficiency in research techniques listed in the first point;
Documented participation in national and international conferences, combined with the presentation of own results;
Knowledge of English, allowing you to freely use professional literature, write grant projects, original publications, monographs and patents.
