Position: Co-investigator in the NSC project “Characterization of secretion, composition and immune properties of the extracellular vesicles released during NLRP3 inflammasome activation, with proteomics combined with bioinformatics approach”

Requirements:
The candidate must:
Hold the M.Sc. diploma in the field of biological, medical or similar sciences, or obtain such by 31.08.2019.
Have a documented academic achievements (publications in recognized international journal), praticularly in the of immunology
Be qualified in independent experimentation and results analysis
Be experienced in culturing of human immune cells, in particular leukocytes
Be able to collaborate within a team
Be fluent in spoken and written English.
Planned tasks and expectations:
Isolation and culture of cells obtained from human buffy coats (monocytes) by adhesion or MACS immunoisolation
Protein biochemistry (Western blot, ELISA, SDS-PAGE, proteins staining)
Scientific writting
Knowledge and experience in mass spectrometry-based proteomics and analysis of proteomics data is highly welcome
Experience in extracellular vesicles isolation and analysis is welcome.

The successful candidate will be employed in accordance with Polish Labor Law at CMMS PAS (healthcare and pension insurance included). The taxable (gross) salary will be PLN 1256 per month.
The employment is for 6 months trial period with the possibility of extension for another 24 months. The employment is part time: 2/5 (2 days per week), flexible.
