PhD scholarship position in NCN OPUS-26 Project

Announcement on the PhD scholarship in NCN OPUS-26 Project (No. DEC 2023/51/B/ST5/02113) „Chiral diradicals: Paramagnetic building blocks for advanced materials.”

Position: a PhD scholarship

Profile of candidates/requirements:

1. Master of Science degree in chemistry or related sciences received within the past 3 years or a student of the final year of stationary studies;
2. Status of a PhD student at CMMS, PAS in Lodz or to be able to apply to Doctoral School (PŁ);
3. Experience in organic chemistry;
4. Knowledge of analytical techniques, such as NMR, UV, IR, MS;
5. Fluent in written and spoken English;
6. Enthusiasm and high motivation for learning new techniques and collaboration with other research groups.

Project description:

The PhD student will participate in a 4-year-long research project focused on synthesis and physical-organic characterization of a unique class of chiral organic paramagnetic materials.
