Position: PhD student (2 positions)
Project description:
Research conducted as part of a Project:
“Bigels with controlled release of hydrophilic and hydrophobic therapeutic compounds as
potential dressings in the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers” OPUS 25
consisting of:
1. Synthesis and characterization of comonomers, homo- and copolymers;
2. Structural modification of polymers;
3. Formation of cross-linked biomaterials;
4. Detailed characteristics of obtained materials;
5. Cooperation with biomedical environment;
6. Participation in national/international scientific conferences
Requirements:
1. Master of Science degree in chemistry or related sciences received in the last 5 years;
2. Willingness to participate in the Doctoral School;
3. Experience in organic chemistry; The knowledge within polymer chemistry
will be preferred;
4. Knowledge of analytical techniques, such as NMR, UV, IR;
5. Very good written and spoken English;
6. Willingness to cooperate in interdisciplinary environment;
7. Motivation for scientific work, creativity.

and scientific experience acquired during previous scholarships, workshops and scientific
training, participation in research projects.
