Announcement on the STUDENT scholarship in an NCN SONATA BIS Project (2018/30/E/ST5/00576)                    

“Hydrogels composed of dynamic cross-links of controlled diffusivity and enhanced solubility of drugs for gynaecological treatment“

Position title: Fellow-Student (1-2 persons)

Applicant has to meet the following requirements:

1. An undergraduate or graduate student of chemistry or related;
2. Accomplished basic organic chemistry and analytical chemistry courses;
3. Knowledge of English enabling the use of English literature;
4. Motivation for scientific work, creativity;
5. Experience in the synthesis of hydrogel systems will be an additional advantage.

Task description:

A student will be responsible for the synthesis of copolymers, the formation of hydrogels, conducting physical and chemical analyses of polymers. Possibility of performing a master’s thesis in the topic of the project.

The conditions of employment:

NCN scholarship: 1600 PLN/month for 10 months.

Worksite: Centre of Molecular and Macromolecular Studies, Polish Academy of Sciences, Lodz, Division of Functional Polymers and Polymer Materials.
