THREE POSITIONS OF ASSISTANT IN POLYMERIC NANOMATERIALS DIVISION

DIRECTOR OF THE CENTRE OF MOLECULAR AND MACROMOLECULAR STUDIES, POLISH ACADEMY OF SCIENCES IN ŁÓDŹ, ANNOUNCES A COMPETITION FOR THREE POSITIONS OF ASSISTANT IN THE DEPARTMENT OF POLYMERIC NANOMATERIALS

 1. Key responsibilities

• Research in the field of physico-chemistry of nanomaterials, materials and polymeric nanomaterials, obtaining and studies of new materials and nanomaterials;
• Analysis of obtained results and preparation of publications in scientific journals, and presentations to scientific conferences;
• Preparation of research grant proposals and proposals for purchasing of research equipment.

2. Requirements:

• MSc in chemical, physical, technical or related sciences;
• Experience in experimental studies and skill in research techniques used in the field of physico-chemistry of nanomaterials, polymer materials, and nanomaterials;
• Documented scientific achievements – at least four publications in JCR-listed journals, with high IF, preferably concerning future research;
• Proficiency in English, sufficient to read scientific literature.

3. Required documents:

• Application and motivation letter with a description of the planned research (no more than two pages A4) in the Department of Polymeric Nanomaterials;
• CV/academic biography with description of previous research work and achievements;
• List of publications and other achievements;
• Copy of MSc diploma or PhD diploma;
• Two recommendations from professors or associate professors.

4. The applications and required documents must be sent in pdf format to ,  with CC to with the note “Competition for assistant–DPN” before 16.07.2024.

5. The recruitment will be decided before 29.07.2024.

6. During the competition procedure candidates may be asked to present their results and a description of the plan for the development of a scientific career at CMMS PAS.

7. The selected candidate will be employed in by the provisions of the Polish Labour Law for an indefinite or definite period.

8. We reserve the right to cancel the competition without giving a reason.
