Wymagania:

Qualifications and criteria:
• Bachelor/Master degree in a field related to Organic/Inorganic/Synthetic Chemistry;

• General laboratory experience;
• Expertise in either one of the following areas will be preferred: Transition Metal Catalysis, Heterocyclic Chemistry, Fluorine Chemistry, Medicine Chemistry, NMR Spectroscopy. The expertise in all mentioned fields is not mandatory;
• Ability to fluently communicate in English or German (written and spoken);
• Advanced skills in academic writing along the ability to write scientific papers;
• Strong motivation to work in science; enthusiasm to undertake challenging research work;
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability for work in an international team.

Opis zadań:

We are looking for a talented synthetic chemist with a background in synthetic organic chemistry, transition metal catalysis, heterocyclic chemistry to join our dynamically growing research team focused on various arias of synthetic organic chemistry, homogenous catalysis and medicine chemistry as a research associate (Ph D student. The successful candidate will take part in a research program dedicated to diversity oriented synthesis and functionalization of fused pyridin-4(1H)-ones, 4H-pyrane-4-ones and 4H-thiopyran-4-ones aimed at design new potential preclinical drug-candidates under the supervision of Dr. Satenik Mkrtchyan and Dr. Viktor Iaroshenko.

The remuneration for the position will be a salary ( 2 500 PLN/month gross) as detailed by National Science Center regulations. Length of employment in the project: up to 16 months, namely till the end of the project.
