Introduction

Principal research interests and expertise include issues of silicon chemistry, polymerization, particularly synthesis of multifunctional silsesquioxanes and hybrid materials, and their modification mechanisms into specific applications, including macrocatalysts, multifunctional reagents, drug carriers, probes and markers. More recently, my research focuses on new photosensitive POSS derivatives for the photodynamic inactivation of pathogenic microorganisms and photodynamic therapy.
